It is a rare handmade instrument made by a legendary oboe maker. It has a rich, dark, smooth tone and is in a league all its own. Its synthetic top joint will insure that it will remain stable and reliable in all settings. This oboe was purchased new in 2009, and went through a $2000 overhaul by Guy Dupin in 2018. I sold it to the current owner in 2019, and it became part of a large collection. It has had very light play since then. It is in excellent condition, with no history of cracks.
